The smell of fresh flowers is appreciated by one and all. The colors and the lovely smell of the flowers are a nature’s best gift to humans. To highlight the perfumed flowers and their colors we can make May wall hanging baskets. We just need the basic knowledge of the craft and we can make out own May wall hanging baskets which will be appreciated by all and it will look so good anywhere you hang it. How to make May wall hanging baskets is very easy and the directions are given below:
To start with you will need the fabric which will be 1/3rd yard. The color of the material depends on your choice. It is used to create back settings. It also adds tone to a few blocks which will be used to build to complete the basket.
Next, you will need ½ yard of fabric print, contrast to the earlier fabric. The brown is preferable as it will help you create an outer border which will look beautiful. Another material will be 3/4th yard of fabric for the handles and basket. This can be in light brown. 1/3rd of green fabric will be used to complete the sashing duties. Yet another piece of fabric will be required in 35 x 30 inch for batting. 1/3 of floral print will be required. The background can be white or off white in color. This will help to bind and create internal borders.
You will need a green to create foliage and leaves. For this you will need scrap of 123 X 3 inches. For the flowers you can pick up any bright colors like pink, or yellow for that you will need 64 X 4 inches of scrap for creating the flowers. For this the square pieces are required.
The quilt will be of size 33 X 28 inches when finished and the blocks will be 8 X 10 inches when finished. The cotton embroidery thread will be required. Any color can be picked but the dark and light contrast will look good. The thread can include many colors. Buy 12 X36 inches of waxed paper. You will also need 2 yards of Satin Ribbon to create the bows. The satin ribbon should be ½ inch wide.
How to trace your handles:
To trace the handle of the basket, use white fabric and cut out A-Rectangle. Six pieces will be required of 5 ½ X 8 ½ inch. Once you cut out the rectangle, fold them in half and press. The mark will be required for the core of the quilt. The fold created is the mark. Once the material is folded in half open and draw your post handle lines. Now, you are ready to trace the copies. The copies will be your guide to create the handles.

The Stationery paper can be made into good design for scrapbook. The fun pages, craft, basic layout and captions can be made out of stationery paper. The stationary paper is available at any stationary store and it is available in variety of colors, design and size.
Let us find out how a craft can be made from stationary paper
1) Choose Stationary Paper: The paper you choose should match with the scrap book. The material inside should look good on the paper and it should highlight the writing or the picture inside the scrapbook.
2) Dividers: The dividers are basically created to separate the scrape book in different parts or chapters. The divider’s give a different dimension to your book. It depends what your scrapbook is all about and you can choose the color and design accordingly. If the theme is fall then take all the oranges, yellows and greens to depict the fall.
Here is a tip when you mount photos on the stationary paper cut out the internal region it will look good and not be obvious when you are using extra pages for the other pages.
Try to die, punch and use stickers to create more patterns. The photo’s will look outstanding in those environments. Like when you are announcing the birth of a baby, you can use baby’s finger prints or foot prints to highlight the coming of baby and add the name, date of birth for the stationary paper to look good.
Creating scrap book is always fun and you can use to creative abilities to the full. You do not need to be a professional to create and not worry about people. When the stationary is used to choose the patterns and design it always becomes a fun activity.
The craft shop or the stationary shop has all the colors design which you can choose as per your liking. The patterns are many like stripes, dots, checks. Floral, etc. You can also check online for new designs which are introduced regularly. The papers you get are also of different variety that is velvet paper, handmade paper, ribbed, or cardboard, or corrugated paper.
If you are an artist you will want to make your own patterns and for that you can purchase do it yourself kits available in the stores. Make sure you use good paper if you are making your own design or else your photos and material will be ruined because of the quality of paper being bad. The balance paper can be used for the letterhead or you can start another scrap book.The scrap you have left from your patterns, stationary, etc, you can use to create letterheads for your title page, header, and so on. Otherwise, you can use the scraps to start your next pattern on the following page.
Craft is always fun and enjoyment what ever you do. Once you have the pens, paper pencil and patterns etc you can bring your scrapbook alive.

The chimes can be made of reddish brown clay (Terra Cotta Pots). The pots can make good chimes.
To get started you will need ten ceramic pots. They should be around 1 ¼ inch to 1 ¾ inch. The other things you need will be wood, varnish paint and time’s six plates and screws of 5/8 inch., Beads made of wood and spool, wire up to 20 yardsticks.
How to make Chimes:
On the wooden plate add a coat of varnish, allow them to dry and continue adding coat of varnish. Screw the grommet 5/8 screw into the plate. If you want to add more screws add them few inches apart. Cut your line measuring lengthwise.
Once you finish the step, run another line measuring lengthwise through your beads of wood and fasten so that it forms a dual bond. You can use adhesive to fasten the area if you feel.
Take the other vessel to create the chimes, threading them and regulate the measurement lengthwise. Here you can add the grommet 7/8 screws to hand the chimes. Use the wire outlined in this article to hang the chimes.
The chimes are finished. Now you will get some tips on crafting snakes to place beneath the lower areas of the door so as to keep the wind out during winter.
Get a strong textile weaver fabric or corduroy, thread to coordinate with the fabric will be required. In addition, to you will need stuffing dry beans, and rice. You may need adhesive and felt in any color.
Next, trim the fabric up to 10 inches wide and 6 inches lengthwise. Measure your door before cutting the fabric. Use two parts of the outer regions or your fabric, gather and hand or machine sew 3 sides around 3/8 inch away from the edge of the fabric. Conceal the seams and add the stuffing. Turn the edges and then stitch them and choose additives to design the snake.
For that you can use glues, buttons, studs etc to make eyes. You can also use felt to make the lips, tongue and surrounding features about the eyes as lids or brows.
The snakes can make a good gift also. You can craft few to give your friends as well you can keep them around to keep it warm in the winter.
